Jim Bond

I attended PMA from Fall, 1962 until graduation as 1st Lieutenant Adjutant in May, 1965. I went to North Texas State University before moving to St. Louis, MO where I lived for a number of years. Produced and hosted radio talk shows for over 20 years, interviewing hundreds of authors, entertainment celebrities, concert artists and other notables with radio stations in Missouri, Texas and Kentucky. I have an extensive background as a choral and orchestral conductor, Founding Director of the Manistee (Michigan) Symphony Orchestra with acclaimed soloists. I've been a magazine and newspaper feature writer with music reviews, arts columns and classic car feature stories. I've served as master of ceremonies for civic, cultural and entertainment functions, having appeared with the Kansas City Symphony, Missouri Symphony and the Louisville Orchestra. Additional work has included voice-over and voice-on-camera talent for radio and television commercials and corporate videos. For the past 25 years have been a contractor in the audiobook industry as a narrator and director. I'm an involved father of three sons and a daughter, a lover of classic and antique automobiles, genealogy and history.
