kenneth barnes

W. Kenneth Barnes, Class of 1945, served as adjutant to Frank Salido. Degree in journalism from University of Texas, 1949. Worked for newspapers, and in public relations for oil companies in Houston. Left Houston in 1971 as vice president of Ada Oil, to return to the family ranch in San Marcos. Served as administrator of the Texas House of Representatives for a short time, and as assistant to the president and director of public affairs at Texas State University for 20 years, retiring in 1993. I have been attempting to locate living members of my class, and would appreciate any information anyone might have (see the 1945 Lancer for the names).
