Scholarship

Why a Scholarship?

As Alumni, we believe that to prepare young men and women for adult responsibility and leadership, military training integrated with academic training will provide our country with alert, self-sufficient men and women who respect and can assume the obligations and duties of civil life. It was as cadets at Peacock Military Academy that we developed self-confidence and learned how to accept responsibility, and how to “get-along with our fellow man.” Our aspiration is that the legacy of Peacock Military Academy and the Corps of Cadets will inspire new generations of young men and women to attend colleges and universities that offer Senior R.O.T.C. programs, that we believe best produce students and graduates of sound character, personal integrity, and honor, and who go out into their communities fully prepared to assume the obligations and duties of citizens of this great country.
The PMA Alumni Association annually awards one or more $10,000 scholarships to first year and second year college students enrolled in Senior R.O.T.C. programs at their colleges and universities.

The PMA Alumni Association currently offers a scholarship to first year and second year college students enrolled in Senior Reserve Officer Training Corps (R.O.T.C.) programs at their colleges and universities.

Individuals wishing to apply for the scholarship are urged to go to our website, review the eligibility criteria and apply. Applications must be submitted no later than June 30 of the academic year.
