PMA Scholarship Eligibility Requirements and Application Instructions
- Applications must be received by the Scholarship Committee by June 30
- Applicants must be enrolling or be enrolled in a Senior ROTC program at a college or university.
- Applicants must be enrolling or be enrolled as first-year or second-year college students. First-year applicants who were not selected may apply again the following year as second-year students.
- Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
- Applicants must provide a letter of recommendation from their ROTC Department and two (2) letters of recommendation from an employer or teacher.
- Applicants must provide a minimum 500-word essay-See Essay Prompt
- Applicants cannot have a felony record.
- Scholarship monies can be used solely for tuition and fees.
- Finalists are required to meet with the Scholarship Committee to discuss their ROTC experience and future plans.
- Applicants must submit their prior year high school or college transcripts with their applications.
- The $10,000 scholarship is awarded by semester (1/2 first semester – 1/2 second semester)
- Applicants who are selected for scholarships must provide the Scholarship Committee with their first semester college transcript to receive second semester scholarship monies.
