Scholarship Applications Form

PMA Scholarship Eligibility Requirements and Application Instructions

  1. Applications must be received by the Scholarship Committee by June 30
  2. Applicants must be enrolling or be enrolled in a Senior ROTC program at a college or university.
  3. Applicants must be enrolling or be enrolled as first-year or second-year college students. First-year applicants who were not selected may apply again the following year as second-year students.
  4. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
  5. Applicants must provide a letter of recommendation from their ROTC Department and two (2) letters of recommendation from an employer or teacher.
  6. Applicants must provide a minimum 500-word essay-See Essay Prompt
  7. Applicants cannot have a felony record.
  8. Scholarship monies can be used solely for tuition and fees.
  9. Finalists are required to meet with the Scholarship Committee to discuss their ROTC experience and future plans.
  10. Applicants must submit their prior year high school or college transcripts with their applications.
  11. The $10,000 scholarship is awarded by semester (1/2 first semester – 1/2 second semester)
  12. Applicants who are selected for scholarships must provide the Scholarship Committee with their first semester college transcript to receive second semester scholarship monies.
